The River Valley Technical Center’s Adult Education Program’s mission is to meet the diverse educational needs of adults in the RVTC region. We are committed to working with employers and employees to continually develop the workforce skills required to remain competitive in the global economy as well as to provide classes for personal enrichment.
Employers - We can design customized classes to meet the needs of your specific workforce. These can be offered here at the tech center or at your place of business. We can work with your company alone, or we can work with multiple employers to reduce costs.
Daytime Programs - Adults with GED’s or without a high school diploma can attend RVTC's daytime programs at no cost! Adults with a high school diploma is welcome to attend one of RVTC's daytime programs on a space available basis.
Online Courses – Through a partnership with the Windham Regional Career Center and Ed2Go, RVTC now offers over 300 highly interactive courses that you can take entirely over the Internet. Our online courses are affordable, fun, fast, convenient, and geared just for you. All courses include expert instructors, many of whom are nationally known authors.
Tuition is affordable, and individuals may apply for grants to help offset costs.

Curriculum Developer (Temporary Contract Position)
Currently seeking an experienced Curriculum Writer with knowledge of environmentally friendly janitorial practices to rewrite an existing curriculum on janitorial. This is a one-time, independent project with tight time frames. Applicants must have curriculum writing experience to be considered. Looking to fill the position as soon as possible.
Adult Education Instructors
Offering top dollar for motivated people to teach part time, evenings in our Adult Education Division. Share your trade, hobby, or passion with others in the community. ALL IDEAS WILL BE CONSIDERED! Teachers certified to offer national credentials are especially desired.
