The River Valley Technical Center held its annual awards ceremony honoring students for being program completers, earning industry recognized credentials, college credit and gold medal winners. Technical Center scholarships were awarded to students who achieved the highest standards in technical education and who plan on pursuing a post-secondary education.  The Director's award, awarded to one student who exemplifies the mission and qualities of the River Valley Technical Center was presented to Lakota Blaisdell.  His name will be permanently displayed on the Director's Award plaque at RVTC. The Vermont Land Trust Award was awarded to Austin Turco, Horticulture, BRHS.  The New England Culinary Institute scholarship was awarded to Kris Haselton, Culinary Arts, GMUHS. The Tom Leever Health Careers scholarship was awarded to Katherine Moulton, Health Careers, SHS. The Christine Lawler Scholarship was awarded to Sean Kenney, Business, GMUHS.

 The VSAC Vermont Honor Scholarship was also awarded to Kolbi Briere, Human Services, SHS. The Jennifer Bixby Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Kayla Quimby, Human Services, SHS. The Kurt Dechen Scholarship was awarded to Cassidy Otis, Human Services, SHS. The Assistant Director’s Scholarship was awarded to Kris Haselton, Culinary Arts, GMUHS. The Director’s Scholarship was awarded to Kolbi Briere, Human Services, SHS. Finally, the Roger McNamara Spirit Scholarship was awarded to Kayla Quimby, Human Services, SHS.
